Peanut Butter Pie Recipe
Create an Amish Country favorite in your own kitchen!
1 - baked pie shell
3/4 cup - powdered sugar
1/2 cup - peanut butter
2/3 cup - sugar
3 tbsp - cornstarch
1 tbsp - flour
pinch of salt
3 - egg yolks
3 cups - milk
1 tsp - vanilla
2 tbsp - butter
Cream powdered sugar and peanut butter till crumbly. Set aside. Mix sugar, cornstarch, flour, salt, egg yolks, milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to boil and cook a few minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool. Put half of crumbs in pie shell and then add pudding. Top with whipped topping and remaining crumbs. MMMmmmmm!
