Delicious Amish Country Food!

Boyd and Wurthmann Restaurant is blessed to have the opportunity to serve many of the 4 million tourists that travel through Holmes County every year. Our Amish cooks do a great job of making home-style specials daily, plus a large variety of homemade pies. We, as the Mullet family are committed to bringing our customers the best of home cooking and a pleasant dining experience.

Many locals equate the Boyd & Wurthmann restaurant with the Berlin they once knew: a small, one-horse town. The restaurant was a gathering place for locals to catch up on the latest news over a cup of coffee, discuss business deals while trying the daily special or just stop by for one of Bryl Wurthmann's famous homemade pies. Since its beginnings, Boyd and Wurthmann has continued to draw crowds of both locals and visitors with the promise of not only mouth-watering pie, but also a fascinating history.

  • "We stopped for dinner tonight and had an excellent meal. We had a fried chicken and roast beef dinner and were not disappointed. Great blackberry cobbler for dessert. We were out the door under $30. Placed was packed. Larger parties had to wait for tables to open but everyone was very friendly. Service was quick and efficient. Definitely a must stop in Amish country."

  • "We asked a local where the best breakfast was in the vicinity of Berlin. He said, hands down, it was Boyd and Wurthmann. After eating there, we can't imagine a better place. Food was very tasty, portions were huge and the wait staff was very attentive despite waiting on a capacity crowd. We look forward to trying lunch and dinner there."
